There are 5 major alliance of airlines around the globe. Consequently, the Airline Partners have ticketing agreement and interline baggage transfer available. Among them, the biggest alliance is Star Alliance with 26 members. It is then followed by Sky Team with 19 members. Also, the third biggest alliance is One World with 13 members. After that comes, Value Alliance which comes next with a strength of 6 members. Vanilla Alliance have 5 members and U-Fly Alliance also has 5 members.

STAR ALLIANCE

Star Alliance was formed in 1997, and it main office is in Frankfurt, Germany. Furthermore, its official website is www.staralliance.com. As of today Star Alliance has 26 members. It was originally formed by 5 airlines: United Airlines, Thai Airways, Scandinavian Airlines, Lufthansa and Air Canada. The slogan of Star Alliance is, “The Airline Network for Earth”. Eventually, Star Alliance is the largest Airline partners that is formed till date.
